The Certified Data Scientist certification enables one to begin a career as a data scientist. Students will learn how to architect a data science project and manage the data using Hadoop. Students will learn how to work independently as a data scientist, from forming the hypothesis to validating the model. In addition, students will also learn how to handle unstructured text, plus pick up techniques to analyze and extract meaning from extremely large data sets. CDS certification holders will be able to apply data science in fields such as marketing, business intelligence, scientific research and more.
Target Group
This certification is intended for individuals who aim to begin a career as a data scientist. In order to obtain the Certificate, students need to deliver an actual data science project that incorporates the knowledge, skills and tools learnt in previous modules.
